About The Position

The RN Director Nursing Operations provides leadership to cost centers within the Nursing Departments. The specific area of leadership focus is on the discharge suite. Ownership of special projects include Timpani, Tele Tracking, Nate, & care team assignments. The Director of Nursing Operations also works closely with Nursing Directors to focus on patient flow, geometric length of stay, and multidisciplinary rounding.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Masters Degree in related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in acute care nursing required.
  • Experience in Meditech and other EHR systems required.
  • Experience in implementation of technology preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation required.

  • Provide leadership to cost centers within the Nursing Departments.
  • Focus on the discharge suite.
  • Own special projects including Timpani, Tele Tracking, Nate, & care team assignments.
  • Work closely with Nursing Directors to focus on patient flow, geometric length of stay, and multidisciplinary rounding.
