About The Position

The Director, Clinical Educator oversees all education activities at Capital Caring as well as directly manages the education components of multiple priority-driven initiatives across the organization. Working collaboratively with all departments, this role aligns all learning activities to the goal of providing measurable world class care, while balancing the needs of our internal and external learners. The Director of Clinical Education also oversees and directly is responsible for the ongoing clinical and administrative implementation/updates of the learning management system.

Requirements

• Must have licensure from the Commonwealth of Virginia, District of Columbia, and Maryland to practice professional nursing.
• Must have a Master's Degree in Education, Administration, or relevant area and equivalent professional experience required.
• Must have 5 to 7 years of experience in education/curriculum development/eLearning strategies.
• Health care background strongly preferred.
• Three years senior management experience required.
