About The Position

Registered Nurse-Dialysis Part Time/Per Diem Our client, a state-of-the-art dialysis center located in Nassau County, Long Island, is seeking experienced and dedicated Dialysis RNs to join their team. Now Hiring: Shift: 1:30pm-11:30pm Schedule: 2-3 days/week-weekend availability required

Requirements

• New York State RN license
• Active BCLS (ACLS preferred)
• At least one year of recent experience in a chronic dialysis setting
• Available to work weekends on the 1:30pm-11:30pm shift

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient's physiologic and psychosocial health status
• Formulates and implements the plan of care and establishes the priorities necessary to achieve expected outcome
• Collaborates with other care team members in planning and carrying out treatment regimen
• Provides direction to other members of the care team
• Administers medications correctly and safely
• Participates in patient and family education
