Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current knowledge of diabetes management and education.

Nice To Haves

• CDE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates Diabetes Services program.
• Maintains current knowledge of diabetes and CDE certification.
• Provides education to diabetic inpatients and outpatients.
• Provides staff education related to diabetes.
• Teaches clearly and effectively.
• Maintains program’s ADA recognition status, if applicable.
