About The Position

The Staff Nurse in the Dermatology Clinic is responsible for providing competent nursing care to patients and their families within the outpatient dermatology program. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient flow and care during clinic visits, as well as managing communication and education for patients and their families.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• Ability to be flexible, motivated, and work in a changing environment.
• Strong teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing competent nursing care to patients and their families in the outpatient dermatology program.
• Partnering with multidisciplinary staff to manage clinic patient flow and patient care needs during clinic visits.
• Triaging and managing phone calls; coordinating care for patients.
• Communicating with patients, families, and health care providers.
• Educating patients and families.
• Assisting the clinical team with biopsy, laser, and excision procedures.
