About The Position

At Hi-Desert Medical Center (HDMC), we've been caring for our community for over 40 years. Our Continuing Care Center (CCC), located on the campus of HDMC, provides specialized care to residents close to their own communities, with spectacular panoramic views of desert landscapes for both residents and their guests. The Continuing Care Center has 120 beds and offers three distinct levels of service in semi-private rooms: Subacute care, Skilled nursing care, and Long-Term Care. This role provides direct clinical patient care and assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated and is accountable to support the CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care.
• Leadership experience in a nursing role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care.
