About The Position

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU/SICU) utilizing the nursing process. Is responsible for appropriately managing care of assigned patients who present with a life-threatening illness and/or disease. Demonstrates professional growth and development. Demonstrates a commitment to service, Hamiltons mission, values, and professionalism.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program as evidenced by primary source of verification.
• Current Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN.
• BLS required.
• 1+ year of recent CVICU RN experience, including open heart recovery, and or strong cardiac background required.
• Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.
• proficient in special skills as demonstrated through completion of critical care skills check-off.

Nice To Haves

• BSN or MSN preferred
• ACLS and CCRN preferred
• Critical Care Course/Internship preferred
