About The Position

Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients, trains, and manages transport personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. Must be eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
• Associate Degree: or Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
• PHRN - PA PreHospital RN Cert (Required) or EMT-P - Paramedic Certification (Required)
• RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
• 1 Year experience performing critical care interfacility transport. (Preferred)
• 3 Years experience in relevant adult, pediatric, or neonatal critical care area. (Preferred)
• DRIVER - Drivers License (Preferred)
• EMSVO - EMS Vehicle Operator (Preferred)
• CFRN - Cert Flight Registered Nurse (Preferred)
• CTRN - Cert Transport Reg Nurse (Preferred)
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Preferred)
• APLS - Advanced Pediatric Life Suport (Preferred) or PALS - Pediatric Adv. Life Support (Preferred)
• ITLS - Internl Trauma Life Support (Preferred) or PHTLS - PreHospital Trauma LifeSupport (Preferred)
