About The Position

Overview: The job will start at 2 to 3 8-hour shifts per week. By the summer of 2026 it will become full time, (40 hours) M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm. Job Description Summary: Ensures care continuity for patients and families and collaborates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of all program components. Job Description: Essential Functions: Develops, implements, and enhances special projects promoting inpatient/outpatient continuity of care and parent engagement. Ensures the provision of high quality, individualized, comprehensive, cost effective patient across the continuum. Initiates, tracks, analyzes, and manages all program quality improvement and research projects, program goals and objectives. Coordinates functions with interdisciplinary medical care, liaison functions with patient, family, medical staff, and referring physicians. Develops educational materials and programs for patients, nursing and ancillary staff, and physicians. Develops clinical protocols, policies, and procedures including community education and public relations. EOE M/F/Disability/Vet

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, required.
  • Registered nurse in the State of Ohio, required.
  • Effective customer service skills.
  • Good multiplatform communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
  • Ability to assist in conflict resolution.
  • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills required for interaction with contacts required.
  • Three years of registered nurse experience, required.
  • Standing, Walking OCCASIONALLY

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Degree in Nursing, preferred.
