Primary Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
  • Valid and current Texas RN license
  • Current BCLS through American Heart Association
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical area related to assigned department
  • Experience leading a team
  • Ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • ACLS
  • Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned
  • 2+ years of ambulatory care experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Windows - based computer skills
