About The Position

The primary role is to develop the RNs/Medical Assistants at Intermountain Health Medical Group Clinics with a focus on workflows, protocols and team building and development. This role will strongly collaborate with the Clinic Managers and partner with Process Improvement, Ambulatory Informatics, Pharmacy and other system resources. Join our team as a Nurse/Medical Assistant Educator, where you'll lead the development of Nurses/Medical Assistants (MAs), enhance clinical workflows, and help shape a culture of patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• 2+ years of RN experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• 3+ years of clinical nursing (primary or specialty care)
• 1+ year in leadership, process improvement, or change management

Responsibilities

• Mentor and Educate RN/MAs to support their professional growth in a clinical setting
• Develop and manage orientation and training programs for RNs/MAs and MA Leads
• Foster strong provider-RN/MA relationships to improve care delivery
• Serve as a subject matter expert on RN/MA scope of practice
• Identify and implement workflow improvements and protocol standardization
• Oversee RN/MA responsibilities in pharmacy guidelines, vaccine administration, CLIA proficiency, and medication safety
• Collaborate on clinic quality improvement initiatives and RN/MA-driven measures
• Support hiring processes by partnering with RN/MA Leads during interviews
• Promote and uphold the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health
