About The Position

GENERAL OVERVIEW: Assists in the delivery of health care and patient care management by maintaining an organized clinical flow of care between physicians and patients; provides day-to-day supervision of clinical staff; is responsible for clinical staff training and managing medical resources that affect patient care.

Requirements

  • Minimum Graduate of an RN or allied health associates degree program.
  • Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
  • 1-3 year(s) medical office or related health care experience.
  • CPR – American Heart Association
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily supervision and management of clinical staff members. Hire, trains, supervises staff, evaluates work and recommends and implements approved corrective actions. (20%)
  • Performs RN duties as defined in the RN job description. (40%)
  • Assures all new clinical employees are appropriately oriented and trained. Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies. (10%)
  • Maintains and updates all clinical policies and procedures. (10%)
  • Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff to resolve issues. Provides clinical expertise to clinical staff in regard to patient care. (10%)
  • Participates, develops and implements performance and/or quality improvement initiatives. (10%)
