About The Position

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years! Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. Our advanced hospital will offer 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, onsite 550-car parking garage, and a helipad for emergency transport. We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor - NICU (Full Time-Days). Our ideal candidate will oversee daily clinical practices, ensuring efficient staffing, smooth patient flow, safety, service excellence, and optimal resource utilization. They will uphold the standards of the care environment and provide patient care that reflects competence, compassion, and efficiency, tailored to the specific age groups we serve. This individual will embody our organizational values and offer immediate feedback to staff to help enhance their performance. Additionally, they will take an active role in process improvement initiatives and lead efforts to boost project outcomes. Facilitating employee engagement through professional shared governance activities will also be a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • 2 year charge nurse experience.
  • Professional experience that demonstrates ability to understand the clinical practice environment.
  • 3 years clinical nursing experience preferred.
  • Current RN license in District of Columbia required.
  • PALS, ACLS, NRP certification required.
