About The Position

Urology Research has made major contributions to the field of urology through novel therapies to treat a variety of urologic conditions. The Clinical Research Nurse is responsible for protocol coordination, including research participant recruitment, enrollment, implementation and follow-up of research procedures. The Clinical Research Nurse promotes good clinical practices in the conduct of clinical investigations by possessing knowledge of federal regulations and guidance documents for the conduct of clinical trials and human subject protection. The Regulatory Clinical Research Nurse provides regulatory support and guidelines based on Federal Guidelines. Assures compliance with Regulatory guidelines and Beaumont policies (FDA, NIH and HIPAA). Corewell Health Hospital, Royal Oak Corewell Health, Royal Oak opened on January 24, 1955, as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital serves as the largest hospital in the Corewell Health network. This is a 1,131-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Corewell Health, Royal Oak has 44 residency and fellowship programs with 481 residents and fellows. Corewell Health is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Corewell Health School of Medicine with more than 1,400 Corewell Health doctors on faculty. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing.
  • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Clinical Research Professional, Certified (CCRP) - SOCRA Society of Clinical Research Associates 3 Yrs required Or obtain within 5 years of hire.
  • CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association preferred Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Current phlebotomy skills.
  • Prior medical/surgical clinical experience.
