About The Position

The Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator leads, manages and coordinates research programs and studies for the Clinical Research Program and physician Principal Investigators. Provides nursing leadership in accordance with protocol requirements, physicians’ orders, and applicable medical center policies and procedures; and performs related work as required. Adheres to Federal and State regulations and sponsor guidelines. Ensures hospital compliance with required terms and conditions for final and ongoing approval to participate in the study. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

Requirements

• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; BSN or MSN strongly preferred.
• Three or more years of nursing experience; active practice within the past 5 years preferred.
• One or more years of experience in leading or coordinating clinical research studies required.
• Experience in Oncology preferred.
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Active Driver License.

• Clinical Research Certification preferred.

Responsibilities
