About The Position

Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) is the largest employer, largest healthcare provider and the only remaining non-profit hospital in the Mohave County of Northwestern Arizona. We are a 235-bed, Level 4 trauma, multi-campus healthcare system. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN
  • Minimum of 3 years of critical care and/or ED experience required, with a solid grasp of hemodynamics
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Life Support
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within 2 years of hire
  • Current, valid Arizona RN license
  • Visual Acuity
  • Ability to sit at a computer for up to five hours a day
  • Minor lifting, 25 pounds

  • Masters Degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

  • Oversee ongoing process improvement to meet or exceed evolving clinical, organizational, and community standards in the population.
  • Assess educational needs of staff and assist in the development of educational programs, staff education materials, and community education as needed.
  • Facilitates activities related to or resulting from patient safety, harm reduction, and clinical performance
  • Responsible for identifying, developing, coordinating, promoting, supporting, and implementing assigned clinical quality, and/or service improvement projects and programs, and acts as a resource for evidence-based practice
  • Research evidence-based practices, national and regional benchmarks, and industry standards and integrates findings into clinical improvement initiatives
  • Coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, and internal and external customers to create collaborative work relationships that drive performance and quality outcomes in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensures quality and patient safety standards are incorporated into current processes and development of new system processes
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team caring for sepsis and stroke patients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of department and organization.
