About The Position

The RN Clinical Program Sr. Advisor plays a crucial role within Cigna's Clinical Sales and Network Organization, focusing on enhancing healthcare quality and affordability while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves collaboration with Network Provider Partners, Clients, and Key Stakeholders to execute strategic priorities aimed at client growth, retention, and value-based provider performance.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state(s).
  • Experience in clinical program management or healthcare consulting.
  • Strong understanding of value-based care models and healthcare quality metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to analyze healthcare data and trends to inform decision-making.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with population health management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Cigna's clinical operations and network strategies.
  • Previous experience in a sales or client-facing role within healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of business segment strategies and healthcare industry trends to deliver clinical insights and consultancy.
  • Consult regularly with provider partners to drive improved performance and success in quality and affordability.
  • Act as a clinical point of contact for Value-Based Provider Partners, ensuring effective Key Focus Action Plans are developed and enacted.
  • Conduct assessments of value-based provider partner infrastructure and clinical capabilities.
  • Engage with network partners to influence practice redesign and support Population Health Management.
  • Facilitate meetings and events to educate and support Cigna's integrated value and grow partnerships.
  • Connect Cigna's Clinical Operations teams with Network Provider Partners to improve collaboration and care outcomes.
  • Participate in local market TMC committees to analyze opportunities and execute initiatives for cost reduction.
  • Serve as a Clinical Subject Matter Expert in cross-functional teams to improve organizational effectiveness.
