Are you a skilled leader and compassionate healthcare professional? We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity within our Department of Surgery for a Clinic Operations Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in planning and directing the work of professional and support personnel who provide outpatient care to patients in the clinical setting. You will manage daily clinic operations and will work with the executive team to proactively assess and implement appropriate processes to ensure that all facets of clinical operational support are effectively addressed. This includes: patient access, schedule optimization, complete and accurate registration, hospital revenue cycle management, payor contracting compliance, insurance referral and preauthorization requirements, coordination of referral documentation, patient flow, environmental safety, regulatory compliance, patient safety, quality initiatives, and patient experience. The Manager partners with the Education Specialists to train and supervise clinic staff with responsibility for employee on-boarding, development, and engagement. The Clinic Operations Manager supports clinical program needs across all relevant levels in the Ambulatory setting and works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, ancillary services, and clinic staff to ensure timely patient access to care, operational efficiency, practice optimization, and fiscal integrity.

Requirements

  • BSN required.
  • Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support, American Heart Association Certifications.
  • Outpatient experience required.
  • Understanding of ambulatory practice management and clinical operations.
  • Two to four years in a clinic or hospital setting with practice management or supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Authorization to Work in the United States.

Responsibilities
