About The Position

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• IV skills and medication administration experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits by maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Organize clinic and exam rooms to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain office and clinic inventory supplies.
• Perform vital signs, height, weight, and screening procedures, documenting results in medical records.
• Greet patients and manage phone communications effectively.
• Electronically submit prescriptions and refills to outpatient pharmacies.
• Maintain cleanliness of procedure rooms and stock assigned areas with necessary supplies.
• Check and complete drug and equipment log usage for each patient or equipment item as appropriate.
• Perform procedures as directed by the physician according to the competency checklist.
