About The Position

This position qualifies for our UNC Health Johnston RN Incentive Program. Candidates with an BSN or higher are eligible for up to $20,000 commitment incentive for a 4 year work commitment, $15,000 commitment incentive for a 3 year work commitment, OR up to $25,000 in tuition loan forgiveness. Candidates with an ADN are eligible for up to $16,000 commitment incentive for a 4 year work commitment, $12,000 commitment incentive for a 3 year work commitment, OR up to $25,000 in tuition loan forgiveness. In addition, this position is also eligible for up to $4,500 in relocation assistance (based on location). Requirements

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One (1) year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self.
• Identifies expected patient outcomes and seeks guidance as needed in revision of plan of care.
• Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems.
• Develops goals to promote professional growth or minimize limitations.
• Recognizes data from complex situations to determine priorities for care.
• Collaborates with patient/family to prepare or update the plan of care.
• Reads journals that contain studies or articles that may be applicable to practice.
