About The Position

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. The 4th Floor Surgical unit is a 33 private bed postoperative unit that provides care to postoperative patients that have had Total Joint and other Orthopedic, Urology, Gynecology, General and Vascular surgical surgeries. It is a great unit to gain experience in Chest tubes, Colostomies, NG Tubes, Wound Vacs, and post-surgical care and for new nurses to gain a foundation to grow in their career. The 4th floor Leadership team is focused on Teamwork and positive co-worker recognition for staff as well as recognition from patient and family feedback.
