About The Position

We are hiring an RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Med-Surg and Ortho/Neuro Trauma units in Kansas City, MO. This leadership role supports a 585+ bed Level I Trauma hospital, ensuring patient-centered care while mentoring staff and advancing unit performance.

Requirements

• RN license in Missouri or Compact state.
• Nursing Diploma/ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg RN experience (charge experience preferred).
• BLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• Charge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide charge-level oversight during assigned shifts.
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient throughput.
• Mentor staff, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with management to assess and improve quality of care.
• Support scheduling, resource allocation, and supply management.
