About The Position

We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Leader to provide overnight supervision and coordination across an acute care setting. This role is responsible for leading clinical operations during nights, weekends, and holidays while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating clinical activities and nursing operations across acute care units Providing leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff in delivering safe, effective care Assisting with staffing coordination based on patient acuity and operational needs Supporting nurses in managing emergency clinical and administrative situations Collaborating with Nurse Managers, Clinical Leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Promoting staff development through mentoring, coaching, and competency assessments Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and professional nursing practices Facilitating communication between off-shift staff and nursing leadership This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to prioritize multiple patient care needs, and leadership in a fast-paced acute care environment. Location: Must reside 50+ miles from Geneva, NY Schedule: Full Time Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3x12s, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays required Pay: Competitive pay + leadership opportunity

Requirements

  • Current New York State RN License
  • Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience
  • Minimum 1 year of critical care experience (ED preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership/Charge Nurse experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clinical priorities and high-acuity situations
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Commitment to professional development and staff mentorship
  • Willingness to work in an environment with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
