The role requires collaboration with nurse managers and staff to identify learning needs and competencies, as well as the development and evaluation of educational plans and programs. The nurse will apply evidence-based practices to ensure that nursing care meets the specific needs of patients. The position also emphasizes adherence to professional nursing standards and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Three years' registered nurse experience.
• State-specific Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs.
• Utilizes methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
• Identifies and/or develops teaching tools and instructional materials.
• Maintains training record of educational activities in the Learning Management System or similar system.
• Applies evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to nursing practice.
• Ensures nursing care is delivered based on patient’s age-specific needs and clinical needs.
• Demonstrates professional nursing standards defined in the professional practice model.
• Uses the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses to guide responses to health and nursing needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
