About The Position

The RN - Clinical Documentation Specialist position at Hamilton Medical Center involves practicing with minimum supervision from another licensed professional. The role requires the ability to perform components of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist, including monitoring, evaluation, and outcomes. The specialist will collaborate with all healthcare professionals involved and demonstrate core activities such as coordination and service delivery, understanding physical and psychological factors, benefit systems, cost benefit analysis, case management concepts, and community resources.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Current RN Nursing License in the State of Georgia.
  • AHA BLS CPR certification required.
  • Three to five years of nursing experience as an RN.
  • Two years of recent clinical experience.
  • Utilization Review experience preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
