Summary: Oversees all clinical aspects of the practice, including, but not limited to patient flow, orders, lab and radiology results, patient education, appointment and surgery scheduling, pre-authorizations and pre-certifications. Makes sure that the continuity of care is maintained in obtaining previous patient medical data. Provides general nursing care to patients in physician office following established standards of practice. In conjunction with Practice Manager, supervises clinical personnel and facilitates day-to-day operations within the practice structure as it relates to clinical staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Applicants with an Associate's degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment
  • Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
  • Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
  • Two years of clinical experience.
  • Population Specific Competency: ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Nursing specialty preferred.
