The position is for a part-time nurse in the SICU/CVICU department, working the PM shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The role involves providing operational shift oversight, delegating care to staff, and facilitating timely patient admission, transfer, and discharge. The nurse will promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with other healthcare team members. Responsibilities include using a systematic critical-thinking approach to guide data gathering, assessment, nursing judgment, intervention, and evaluation of human responses to health problems. The position is part of the LexPlan staffing schedule, which is designated for patient care staff working weekends only, allowing employees to work 24 hours and get paid for 36, while being eligible for full-time benefits and applicable clinical differentials.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
2 years of experience in areas of specialty within the past 5 years.
Current RN license to practice in the State of South Carolina.
National nursing certification in specialty at time of hire/promotion or must obtain within 6 months.

ADN or Diploma nursing degree with enrollment in RN to BS in Nursing or RN to MS in nursing program.
