This is a benefited, full time position working 10-hour day shifts on weekdays only, generally from 7am-5:30pm with an alternating day off. Hours will vary as needed. You will train full time on site, then work 3 days on site at Scripps Clinic in Torrey Pines and with potential for 1 day remotely. Remote days are not guaranteed and are based on clinic needs. What you'll do: This position is about 30%25 clerical and 70%25 clinical. Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice - patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Wound care for post-op patients, assisting with in-office procedures, rooming patients. Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
