About The Position

Scripps Systemwide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports all Scripps Clinic locations throughout San Diego. These are outpatient facilities. As a member of the float team, you can fill vital roles on assignments providing critical coverage for employees' leave of absences and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments. Be flexible, open to floating, & confident in your abilities when given a short orientation to jumping right in to help! What you'll do: Shifts and locations will vary at the clinics throughout San Diego. Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • ADN or Nursing Diploma
  • 18 months of recent RN experience, 1 of which in a Clinic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
  • CA RN license
  • BLS through American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • BSN
  • EPIC experience
  • 2+ years in clinic setting
  • Experience with 2 providers with 15+ patients per day
