About The Position

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Clinical Oversight Supervise a clinical team of approximately 36 staff members, including MAs and LVNs Serve as the first line of response for patient complaints and grievances Provide mentorship, counseling, and preceptorship to clinical staff Build strong rapport with team members, providers, and patients Utilize nursing judgment to troubleshoot issues independently without unnecessary escalation Support daily clinic operations, including some closing procedures Oversee and support procedures; use available resources to problem‑solve in real time Quality & Compliance Conduct clinical audits and ensure adherence to MLK standards Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory compliance Training & Onboarding Participate in a two‑week training program, including hands-on learning and shadowing Orientation may occur in Gardena or another MLK location

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of nursing experience
  • Experience in multi‑specialty settings (list all specialties worked in; Family Practice preferred)
  • Strong leadership with experience in mentorship, counseling, and preceptorship
  • Clinical experience in endocrinology, cardiology, infectious disease, or family practice
  • Procedure experience (e.g., IUDs, vasectomies)
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound nursing judgment
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
