As a dedicated Phase-1 clinical research unit located in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building, the CRU pairs state-of-the-art infrastructure with expert clinical support to deliver safe, high-quality research experiences for participants and investigators alike. It accommodates a wide range of study needs — from outpatient visits and specialized procedures to higher-risk and overnight stays — with integrated clinical nursing services, advanced laboratory capabilities, and seamless access to standard-of-care services when needed. The CRU’s proximity to University of Minnesota Medical Center enhances participant convenience and fosters collaboration across academic and clinical research teams. What you will do as a Clinic RN Specialist: Assesses patient needs and identifies anticipated nursing outcomes Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other health care team members Implements nursing interventions based on care plan Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patients

Requirements

  • Associate’s (ADN) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and current Minnesota RN license
  • BLS certification
  • 5+ years of hospital or clinic experience, or 2+ years of specialty/critical care experience with specialty certification
  • Experience with electronic health record systems
  • ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration required to be obtained upon hire
