PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Clinic - Quality & Coordination for a Part Time, 0.56 FTE, Variable position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $41.84 - $66.28. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Provides professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
  • Assess patient's condition, triage patient phone calls, counsel patients, provide patient education, take patient histories, administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds and monitor patient vital signs.
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
  • Ensure own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
  • Participate in the development of and maintain established policies, procedures and objectives; quality improvement; safety; environmental and infection prevention programs.
  • Accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
  • Basic Life Support required upon hire.
  • Must have Oregon RN license at time of hire.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote positive interpersonal relationships and patient/family centered work environment.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office applications.
  • Effective prioritization skills.
  • Ability to provide health education to patients, staff and community.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, JCAHO, DNV & HCFA regulations pertaining to ambulatory care.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
  • Demonstrates competence in making professional judgements pertaining to patient care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred upon hire.
