About The Position

Regular, part-time RN position that will mainly work in the Family Practice clinic of the Choctaw Nation Healthcare Center, with potential to float to clinics as-needed. Will work at least 2 shifts each week with potential for more. Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position. The Nurse Staff RN renders professional nursing services in the treatment and care of assigned patients. You will provide for the comfort and well-being of patients by assessing condition, providing treatments, and documenting progress and other observations. You will report to the Manager.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Good customer service skills.
• General computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Formulate individualized plan of care.
• Revise individualized plan of care as indicated by the patient's response to treatment; evaluate overall plan for effectiveness daily.
• Evaluate discharge needs and coordinate with multi-health care disciplines in planning for care after discharge.
• Assess pain management techniques and educate the patient and family regarding pain management.
• Identify and address psychosocial needs of patient and family.
• Administer drugs, blood, and solutions according to medical and surgical policies and protocols.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
