About The Position

Our patients are our number one priority! We're committed to giving children back their childhood! The RN, Circulating PRN position at the Frisco Campus involves working in an Ambulatory Surgical Center on a PRN basis (as needed) during the day shift from Monday to Friday. The role requires a professional caregiver who is responsible for providing quality care to a group of patients within a designated time frame.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Hold current Texas RN license or is eligible for reciprocity and holds a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to quickly assess and problem solve complex situations.
• Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the nursing care provided in Neurology for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, adolescents, and children with developmental disabilities.
• Case manages the neurology and rehab medicine patient population.
• Coordinates out-patient clinics.
• Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
