We are looking for an RN to join our Child Behavioral Health Clinic working full time Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm at the Southpointe Clinic. This nurse will meet with patients and parents in person before visits and assist via phone and my chart when there are questions or concerns in between appointments.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
• Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications

Responsibilities

• Majority of work is over the phone and MyChart messaging
• Providing phone education - diversion, coping, assessing for suicidality
• Rooming and vitals
• Medication refills
• Prior authorizations
• Assist in coordinating admissions
• Face to face visits patients or checking for medication side effects
• Assist Partial Hospital Program when needed
• Support 1 Telehealth Psychiatrist with rooming when patients come in for their appointment
