About The Position
The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position. Responsible for management of personnel and equipment/supplies needed for endoscopic procedures. Provides professional nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities also include payroll, budgeting, policy & procedure revision, Performance Improvement, Customer Service Activities, & staffing for the Department.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited RN school of nursing and current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Nursing.
- Successful completion of an ACLS and PALS course of study, & maintain certification.
- Competency in administration of conscious sedation.
- Demonstrates leadership abilities and a functional rapport with co-workers, physicians, and ancillary departments.
