Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
• Experience in a nursing role, preferably in an orthopedic or medical-surgical setting.

Nice To Haves

• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management and operations of the nursing unit assigned.
• Ensure patient safety, patient throughput, and caregiver safety and accountability.
• Supervise and direct activities on the nursing units.
• Coordinate assignments and collaborate with physicians and internal and external entities for safe patient care delivery.
• Utilize the nursing process for the delivery of patient care.
• May be required to float to other units, though this should be the exception.
