Requirements

• Associates Degree
• Florida Registered Nurse License
• BLS
• ACLS
• Five years Cath Lab experience preferred
• Maintains/exceeds all specialty educational requirements
• Leadership skills

Responsibilities

• The Cath Lab Charge Nurse, under the direction the director, is responsible for scheduling employees and coordinating patient flow and room turnover
• Overseeing supply and equipment management
• Coordinating training and orientation of new personnel
• Assisting in staff development
• Monitoring the departmental environment to ensure safe patient care and to evaluate and discipline employees and/or make effective recommendations regarding the same.
• Assist Directors in the completion of performance evaluations.
• Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards.
• Will be required to be a Merge Super User and to assist team members and physicians.
• Expected to manage productivity staffing levels and make adjustments according to volume.
• Responsible for collecting data for Co-Management dashboards.
• Weekly Nurse Leader rounding in order to meet patient satisfaction.
• This is a Full Time Day Shift position.
