COME BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH VIBRA HEALTHCARE! We are seeking a Night Shift, Charge Nurse to join our team! Full Time - Night Shift 12 hr Shifts $20,000 Bonus opportunity! Hospital Details Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND is a 41 bed Critical Care Hospital, providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
  • Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.
  • One (1) year of medical/surgical hospital experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
  • Critical care experience preferred.
  • Previous Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of the individual patient.
  • The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
  • Responsible for coordinating nursing unit activities related to patient care.
  • Participates in patient and family education as needed.
  • Provides leadership and clinical guidance by working with and supporting the nursing staff and other ancillary personnel.
  • Participates in the interdisciplinary review process for patients, incorporating the information into the plan of care and the education plan for the assigned patients.
