About The Position

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Central Resource Team at Edward Hospital, located in Naperville, IL. This is a full-time role requiring a 36-hour work week on the night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The nurse will provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Responsibilities include employing critical thinking skills, assessing patients’ conditions, recognizing changes, planning and evaluating care, monitoring patients’ progress, and recording pertinent observations. The nurse will also delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and function as a team member to fulfill unit goals.

Requirements

  • Requires 1+ years of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
  • Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within one year of start date into position.
