About The Position

This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a day-shift schedule. The Cardiac Cath Lab RN plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, utilizing nursing process for assigned patients. Provides for psychosocial needs of patients. Directs and monitors activities of personnel who deliver patient care. Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the American Heart Association for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and Stroke, and most recently, coronary artery disease. Additionally, Aiken Regional provides comprehensive healthcare services such as behavioral health (Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health), emergency medical care (main hospital and ER at Sweetwater), orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation services (Hitchcock Rehabilitation Services), imaging, and wound care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Previous Cardiac Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Lab experience required.
• Current South Carolina nursing license or compact nursing license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification obtained within one year of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required; work well with physicians, nursing staff, technologists, support personnel, patients, and families.
• Requires timely and accurate performance under stress.
