RN Case Manager (Non-Exempt)
About The Position
Overview Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing Working knowledge of acute care, rehabilitation, or home care Licensure/Certification/Registration: One of the following: Current Alabama RN license Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama For specific areas CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation RN) is required (or eligibility) Desired Qualifications: BSN preferred; Master's degree in a clinical specialty desirable Some background in management, clinical education or case management National certification applicable to area of clinical practice Responsibilities Utilizes a multi-disciplinary plan of care to manage a defined population of patients/clients providing coordination of patient care which meets IHS's standards of quality, efficiency and desired outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Working knowledge of acute care, rehabilitation, or home care
