About The Position

Provides direct patient care to patients in Cardiac Vascular intra-operative (CVOR) setting using the nursing process. Is responsible for managing the care of assigned patients and coping with rapid case turnover and directing activities of ancillary staff. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients of all age ranges.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• ACLS and BLS required
• Finger and hand dexterity.
• Ability to obtain and interpret pertinent information in terms of the patient’s needs.
• Ability to select proper instrumentation/supplies appropriate for the procedure being performed and the age group of the patient served.
