  • Associates of Nursing Required
  • RN experience Required
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients within a patient care unit.
  • Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, patients, and families to provide comprehensive physical and psychological support.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, ensuring compliance with state, facility, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to maintain and improve patient outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through observation, interviews, and physical examinations to gather patient history and vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data, setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely, including oral, intravenous, and intramuscular forms.
  • Provide patient and family education about health conditions, treatments, and self-care practices.
  • Advocate for patient health and safety by acting as a liaison between patients and the healthcare system.
