The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. Our practice, located at 81 Highland Avenue in Salem, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Our practice provides comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care to patients across the North Shore. Located on the Salem Hospital campus, our team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers delivers evaluation, diagnostic testing, and ongoing management for a wide range of heart conditions. This 40-hour per week position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with the flexibility of one remote day per week. The RN will play a key role in supporting the practice through patient triage and in-basket management, ensuring efficient communication and high-quality patient care Job Summary Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree Nursing required
• Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required
• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
• Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred
• Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred
• Triage experience
• Cardiology experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
