The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. We share the commitment to delivering a coordinated and comprehensive experience across all locations, ensuring the appropriate level of care is available to every patient across our care delivery sites. Our cardiology practice is located at 331 Highland Avenue in Salem and at 81 Highland Ave in Salem! Our practices provide comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care to patients across the North Shore. Our team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers delivers evaluation, diagnostic testing, and ongoing management for a wide range of heart conditions. We are seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to support our practices. Our practices are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Job Summary Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required
  • Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
  • Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred
  • Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred
  • Cardiology experience Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
  • Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
