Key Position Details: H5000 is a 32-bed Medical/Telemetry unit that cares for patients with medical and cardiac related health problems (although primarily cardiac). Some common patient diagnoses all the tele units care for are Chest Pain, Dysrhythmias (Atrial Fibrillation, Bradycardia, Heart Block), and CHF (Congestive Heart Failure). H5000 specializes in the care of OHS (Open Heart Surgery) patients. .9 FTE (72 hours per 2 weeks) 12-hour straight day shift Every 3rd Weekend rotation MNA contract Benefit Eligible Tier 1: CV Telemetry experience, pre/post open heart surgery patient care experience preferred Tier 2: Med/surg experience Tier 3: New RN Graduate Job Description: Nursing is the diagnosis and treatment of human response to actual or potential health problems. This includes establishing an intentional therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and a patient and family. As a leader and the integrator of care, the professional nurse has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating and evaluating the patient’s care needs. Specializes in the care of patients who suffer from various conditions of the cardiovascular system.
