Elevate your skillset in a collaborative environment on the forefront of cardiac nursing. Key Position Details: H5200 unit at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. This is a 32-bed general cardiology and post-procedural unit. The unit cares for patients following cath lab procedures, including angiograms, pacemakers, and TAVRs. We also care for patients presenting with chest pain and heart attacks. This is a fast-paced unit and patients typically have a shorter length of stay. H5200 has a positive, supportive, and collaborative work culture. It’s a great unit for new grad nurses to begin their career. Tier 1: CV Tele experience, trained in sheath pulls Tier 2: Med/surg experience Tier 3: New RN Graduate 0.9 FTE (72 hours per two week pay period) 12-hour permanent night shifts Every other weekend rotation Benefit eligible MNA Contract Job Description: Nursing is the diagnosis and treatment of human response to actual or potential health problems.
