Join Baylor Heart & Vascular Hospital (BHVH) Dallas as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac ICU and be part of something better! Full-Time day 1 years related Tele experience required to be considered. Patient Population: Post Cardiology Interventional, Post Vascular Surgical/Interventional, Advanced heart Failure. True Cardiac ICU- CRRT, Impella, Swan, AIBP, etc. No open hearts, CABG, or ECMO. This unit operates as a Cardiac Universal Bed (CUB) in that they have Cardiac ICU and Cardiac Telemetry patients. All nurses on the unit must be comfortable caring for both.

Conduct detailed clinical assessments.
Prioritize patient and family needs.
Create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.
Build relationships and manage discomfort with patients and families.
Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members.
Assess and document learning needs regularly.
Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan.
Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
Use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff.
Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
Achieve goals through teamwork and recognize contributions.
Contribute to peers' development and show community service commitment.

Minimum of 1-year recent, full time ICU, PCU or Tele RN experience.
Grad of an Accredited Program in nursing.
RN license.
Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards.
Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines.
Proficiency in medical terms, focusing on health, disease prevention, management, common meds, and their side effects.
Exceptional communication skills.
Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with a diverse range of parties.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical documentation.
