About The Position

We are hiring a Cardiac Telemetry RN in Independence, MO. This 36-bed specialty unit cares for patients with chest pain, stroke, COPD, GI complications, post-ops, and arrhythmias requiring advanced monitoring. Requirements

• Current RN license in Missouri or Compact state.
• ADN, Diploma, or BSN in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience.
• BLS required; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret ECGs, identify arrhythmias, and respond to emergencies.
• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients requiring telemetry or step-down monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to support patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery.
• Promote patient safety and adhere to hospital policies.
